ON CNN, the Ambassador from Israel just said that they were extremely careful to target their heavy weapons, and that this was not an effort to enact "collective punishment".

3. How can Israel do this?

This is the same kind of nonchalant attitude that allowed the Holocaust happen. You'd think they would have learned that lesson when they were on the other side. It is truly sad to see this, I feel bad for all the people who suffer in that part of the world, innocent Israelis and innocent Palestinians.
