Talking Right: How Conservatives Turned Liberalism into a Tax-Raising, Latte-Drinking, Sushi-Eating, Volvo-Driving, New York Times-Reading, Body-Piercing, Hollywood-Loving, Left-Wing Freak Show (Hardcover)
by Geoffrey Nunberg

BUZZFLASH REVIEWS

If you like George Lakoff's writings on framing, you'll love "Talking Right." It's Lakoff with Tabasco sauce and wry analysis.

How can you not love a book with the line: "It's hard to think of any leading right-wing broadcaster whom even his most devoted fans would welcome having as a brother-in-law." We would add the individual horror one would experience of having Ann Coulter as a sister-in-law!

1. I wish I "was" driving a Volvo.
And drinking a nice latte.

They really were successful at demonizing what a Liberal is. Distortion is everything to them.

3. I've never sat in a Volvo, and i've never had a Latte.
I've never eaten Sushi, I don't receive the New York Times ( I tried but they wouldn't deliver in Texas) I have no real opinion about Hollywood, but The Left-Wing Freak Show does sound interesting.

According to most people that know me, i believe they would describe me a a Left Wing Liberal Commie. I suppose i don't fit in anywhere, oh well i never tried that either.
