Koizumi has left the building..........
The guy has the Elvis wanna-be hair. What an idiotic combo, two "men" who "lead" two of the most powerful countries in the world. Someone stop this nightmare..........

1. I second that.
Nakasone was the last really effective PM.

Murayama was ineffective, Hashimoto was arrogant, Obuchi died prematurely, Mori was unpopular.

Koizumi looked promising when he took office, youthful and less uptight than his predecessors, but he has proven to be an unrivaled Bush sycophant and horrible leader domestically, pursuing an agenda of tax cuts for the rich and privatization at all costs.

There is no doubt in my mind that he is a Carlyle operative.
