Wow! I'm sooooo not surprised! Now that CNN has the Glenn Beck loony, are they soon to follow? Nothing would make me happier then to get rid of CNN/Fox/MSNBC, but not at the expense of losing the fourth estate!

Fox-news - reporting the news approved by the DoC! :eyes:

1. But Fox DOES Believe In The Freedom of the Press
But Fox News DOES believe in the freedom of the press--the freedom of the press to praise Republican and conservative politicians and public figures, the freedom of the press to cover for Republican governmental blunders, the freedom of the press to denounce progressive citizens and progressive ideas, the freedom of the press to obfuscate the truth for the benefit of the Republican Party, and the freedom of the press to reprint RNC propaganda verbatim.

If it sounds like the sort of "freedom of the press" enjoyed by Fascist Italy, small wonder.

:argh:

2. I guess you could say Mussolini is their true inspiration.
"Everything for the state, nothing outside the state, and nothing but the state".

3. They believe in the First Amendment.
They use it as evidence in actual court cases to argue that it protects them even if they get sued by their own reporters who were forced by Fox to lie to the public.

I was raised to believe in the 4th column. How much of it is now scattered rubble?
