Brad Blog: Sibel Edmonds Lauds Gore Speech, Calls for New Whistleblower
Edited on Mon Jan-16-06 03:35 PM by understandinglife
... Legislation

The BRAD BLOG has obtained a statement from "Gag Ordered" FBI Whistleblower, Sibel Edmonds, Founder and Director of the National Security Whistleblowers Coaltion, in response to Al Gore's just completed speech earlier today in Washington D.C.

Gore's address, sponsored by a bi-partisan coalition, warned that our "constitution is in grave danger" and called for, amongst many other things, the creation of new Whistleblower Protections for members of the Executive Branch and others.

Edmonds, due to a rarely invoked "State Secrets" privilege by the Dept. of Justice, is legally barred from discussing remarkable and troubling findings she made as an FBI translator after 9/11, in regard to a number of explosive matters of national security.

Her statement emailed to The BRAD BLOG moments ago is posted here...

2. I like that idea....
...more Whistleblower protections. The Bush administration relies too much on fear and intimidation. I suspect there are many stories out there that could bring down this regime.....BUT.... no sound protective legislation for the PATRIOTS who come forward.

..that is a good place to start.

5. I agree. She, Larry Johnson, Coleen Rowley, Ray McGovern ...
... we'd be in even worse shape without them and their colleagues. Maybe soon, more and more folk will pay attention to all they have done.

Peace.

6. And let's not forget Clint Curtis, Sherole Eaton, Raymond Lemme
(who paid with his life IMO), and Dieb Throat, on the subject of election reform. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes :scared:
