If Josef Mengele could disappear and hide out for the rest of his life... |
|
...why, exactly, couldn't Kenneth Lay?
I usually flee from conspiracy theories, but Lay had SO much to lose.
A man like him does not fart without a backup plan.
And a million-dollar handshake can buy lots of cooperation from officials in rural counties.
A few things I'd like to know;
1. Is the body being cremated? 2. Is there a way we can force fingerprints and DNA to be taken from the body? 3. Can some smart reporter in our midst check on the financial life of the Coroner who did the postmortem?

1. And they sure set a speed record with that same-day autopsy. |
|
With a VISITING coroner, no less.

7. Well, it would make sense |
|
if the visiting coroner was on his way there before the untimely demise. The way things go at airports these days...
A timely expiration.

...and buried in Colorado.

"Is there a way we can force fingerprints and DNA to be taken from the body?"
Uh. no.
Ben, Ben, Ben; it's time for some decaf. Who's the "we" who is going to force the "who" to do that? And how, exactly?
Time to let this one go, bud. It's spiraling out of control.

6. Seems to me those involved in the lawsuits against him might have standing |
|
And might be keenly interested.

9. No, I think the coroner's office would be mightily insulted if those |

prople "demanded DNA and fingerprints to prove he's really dead," and would tell them to go stuff themselves.
Come on. Enough of this is enough, already.

Anyway, they are professionals that are IN THE BUSINESS of verification and identification.
Whether they are offended or not is beside the point and not my concern.

It's too fucking convenient this close to sentencing. Bush and Rove could easily orchestrate this one.

Could Ken Lay have faked his own death? It's possible. Will it every be definatively proven that he didn't fake his own death? It can't be. Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

11. Especially with a rapid cremation. |

Ashes don't give DNA. They could find a tooth in the ashes, but a tooth could be easily planted. I would happily trade a few teeth for a chance to spend my declining years in a mansion in Rio.

something they must have done it. Capability equals culpability. Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com
