AAR is NOT off the air in Cincinnati
Clear Channel, those friends of progressive causes, is switching AAR from
1530 WCKY-AM to 1230 WCPO-AM at midnight tonight, July 7. From Sat a.m.
on, the AAR and Jones (Ed Schultz) lineup and schedule remain the same as
before. Info was confirmed by a call to them this morning. No AAR today, though.

It's quite a withdrawal issue not to have Rachel, Al and Ed and Randi on today.
Best thing to do is write or call Clear Channel (513-686-8300), thank them for
maintaing the programming here, and DEMAND that they continue to provide
balanced programming, else the FCC will be receiving a complaint letter.
Damn that Reagan for offing the Fairness Doctrine...

1. Clear Channel have actually been good about putting on progressives lately
They employ several of my friends, and have been good about granting rights to archive when asked.

2. Great news!
I can't think of any metro area needing AAR more than that incubator of GOP Talibornagain nutbags!

3. Speaking about AAR..........why all the music between segments?
Are they out of sponsors?? Last couple of days when listening, there has been a musical interlude between segments of the show. Don't they have enough sponsors for all the programing??

6. Mea Culpa! It's 1360, not 1230. Shame on me...
AAR, etc. are on 1360, WSAI. 1530 WCKY is allegedly 50k watts, not sure
what WSAI is rated. In any case, some of my friends get 1360 better.
Tom Hartmann was on this morning, an addition? If so, hurrah!
Progressives UNITE, never stop resisting the fascists!
