It saddens me that Joe Lieberman has to convince voters he should win |
|
He's entitled to his Senate office. What's wrong with you people?

1. No one is entitled to a seat in |

the United States House of Representatives or the United States Senate.
Nor is George W. Bush, contrary to the feelings of the Bush Crime Family, entitled to his place in the White House, which he and his gang of thugs stole in 2000 and 2004.

had opponents in their last elections. Byrd has a Republican opponent in what I am presuming will be his last race.

He is entitled to it. Its a lifetime seat just like the Supreme Court and the Pope. How dare Lamont have the gall to challenge him? And all those far leftie whackos in CT. What is their problem? Can't they be grateful for all that Lieberman has done for them? They should get down on their knees and worship the man! He is a saint! God Bless America and Joe Lieberman!

3. Sometimes I have to tell my dog to stop his "whiny boy routine" |

if he wants me to do whatever it is he wants me to do. He gets it.
I feel like telling Joe Lieberman to stop his "whiny boy routine" and act like a man. Joe just gets other people to do his whining for him. Someone should tell him that playing the victim does not make one look like a leader.

4. I think it's his dismissive arrogance... |

and loaded rhetoric towards Dems who don't agree with him and his positions over the last six years that make me want to kick him in the nuts until I get tired.
Traditionally, Dems don't do the royalty thing.

BS he spews such as "I DO think my candidacy is good for the Democratic party" (when asked on CNN on Friday whether he thought his staying in the race would be good for the party. What a load of total HORSE****!
The sooner he is OUT the better. I'm sure he planned to jump parties until he started figuring out that he would be joining a sinking ship. What a total egotistical tool he is.

6. You raise a good point. |

Listening to the American Aristocracy (ie. incumbents) I hear a LOT more talk about things like privilege than I do about responsibility.
It seems to be a common trait among empires in decline.

7. What is wrong with letting CT Dems choose who represents them? |
|
Lamont respects the Democratic voters of CT enough to support who ever they nominate. Joe doesn't respect them enough to do that.
If Joe isn't loyal to CT Dems, why should they be loyal to him?
I'd like to hear your answers....

Joe says the problem is that not enough Dems vote in the primaries to express the will of... the Democratic electorate. That makes zero sense, of course.
What DOES make sense is that not enough REPUBLICANS vote in the Democratic primaries to get Joe over the top.
