Is having an unpopular opinion about rape against DU rules?

I tried having a civilized discussion about rape and my topic was deleted because I suggested maybe the current way we LEGALLY deal with rape is flawed. If I violated any DU rules with that topic, I am sorry, but I read the rules and I don't think I broke any. Again, if I am missing something I apologize.

Now, this is a summary of my point. Rape is the act sex (As defined by statute, usually as penetration of the penis into the vagina and sometimes including things like anal sex or oral sex or touching of certain parts) without the consent of one of the two (or more) parties involved. I think that the standard use here is used ONLY with sex. Why should a legal act (sex) suddenly become illegal due to outside circumstances? I am not saying rapists should not go to jail. If a guy forces a girl to have sex at gunpoint, HE IS GUILTY OF HOLDING A GUN TO HER HEAD, but I don't think the act suddenly morphs from "Good penetration" to "bad penetration". This logic is the logic of right-wingers who say penetration is good when in marriage, bad when outside, etc, even though it's THE SAME ACT.

Someone brought the example of money. Giving money is legal, but if I take your money at gunpoint it's illegal. True, but bad analogy. Giving money willingly can be illegal, think bribes, illegal donations, etc. So, giving money is not an inherently legal activity (like I believe sex is).

So I see two choices:

-There is nothing wrong with putting your penis inside of a vagina, thus it cannot be illegal.

Or...

-Under certain circumstances, it can be illegal to put your penis inside of a vagina.

If you choose the second option, then who is to decide? You say it's illegal when it's force. Why can't someone else say it's illegal when outside of marriage? Or when between two men?

I am disappointed in DU, I thought here we could have discussions on many issues. Or is rape = bad an unquestionable principle? Sounds pretty conservative to me, not to allow for different opinions.

Hell, some people suggested that because of my view on a small portion of US criminal law, I should not be allowed to be free in the USA...
