I hate these mindless slogans. What next? Abortion is A Bore? The Army are you?

Sorry, bumper sticker outside my work window. Thought of scrawling grafitti slogans. Wouldn't be a wise career move, I guess. So I'm scrawling grafitti here! Durnit. Man, some people have no brains and just don't know it.

2. "Freedom isn't free."
As soon as someone explains to me how killing and dying in a dusty place across the ocean contributes to OUR freedom, I might be inclined to agree. Near as I can tell, with illegal wiretapping, illicit surveillance, and 'free speech zones,' we're paying one hell of a high price for increased restrictions on freedom. Tyranny isn't free either, apparently."

3. Apparently Freedom isn't Freedom, either.
Maybe their new slogan should be "It takes a lot of tyranny to be free." Nice, short, Orwellian, and closer to the truth than anything else they say.

5. I thought "freedom isn't free" was simply a response to the Libertarian
slogan "taxation is theft."
