My lady is going to Greece for a few weeks with her friend and mother as well. They are all Greek and have been to the Country/islands several times before. They leaving on 07/23/06, my lady is concerned about flying over there right now in light of the past few days in Lebanon. She says that it is quite common for people to use Athens/Greece as a stop over point to cities like Beirut, and others. I told her that Athens is common for most of Europe in that area.
Is there a resource or place that we can check that will give her a better idea on how safe it is for her to fly and visit Greece for the next few weeks. I would like to have something concrete to ease both of our concerns.
My first thought is the US Embassy in Greece, but I thought I should ask here first.
Thank you in advance;)
