Have any journalists done an in-depth story on who supplies who with weapo |
|
I am curious as to how this terror group and that terror group, or this group of rebels, or freedom fighters, (there are literally hundreds of them around the world) manage to get all of these sophisticated weapons systems.
If anyone in DU land knows the answer, with specific links that show specific money trails, in exchange for weapons, I would appreciate them sharing this information.
How much does our government supply, and to whom? How much do our arms manufacturers supply to individual groups? (not states, but organizations such as Hezbollah) What about the supply of arms to the highest bidders by arms manufacturers from other countries?
It seems that many of these fringe radical groups (call them what you will) always have an endless supply of cash, and the contacts to gain an endless supply of weaponry. I shouldn't be shocked, but I am amazed that Hezbollah has the rocketry that is capable of reaching more than fifty miles within Irael's border.
There are some mighty unscrupulous people out there who would sell off their own country's security for a pile of cash, and not give it a second's thought.
Again, any articles or books on the tracking of this subject?
Thank you, in advance.

2. Israel isn't who I was asking about. I'm talking about terrorists. |
|
I know that Israel gets the bulk of its weaponry from the American military industrial complex. I know that Germany is big in the manufacture of weapons, as is China.
I am looking for specific connections to all of these factions, groups, freedom fighters, guerrillas, terrorists, and the like.

6. Well, again the U.S. is the largest suppliers of arms and weapons |
|
...in the world. I'm sure that trickle down economics plays a big part in how weapons are distributed around to those most in need. You must be looking for a bad guy, the Grim Reaper of war. It is US! It is what makes us such a wealthy nation...war and preparation for war. The rest is all window dressing. War is a Racket: http://lexrex.com/enlightened/articles/warisaracket.htm

8. You aren't answering my question. |

I am looking for specifics. I am more than well aware that the U.S. is a major arms supplier. Could you narrow it down?

14. Investigate U.S. corporations. They sell to any buyers. |
|
We're talking international U.S. Companies. Then, of course, you have another set of dealers, buying legit, selling for profit.
If you want information,...go get it. The few reporters (investigators/CIA/FBI) who've put their lives on the line tracking this shit (drugs and arms) have had difficult lives or shortened lives.
If you are wanting,...go get it rather than expecting others to get it for you.

It's a purposely hidden industry carried on, often, by so-called 'prosperous businessmen' who always seem to have a 'cover'. Adnan Koshoggi is one of the most active 'agents'. In my opinion, it would be better for the world if it was exposed - but with billions at stake and greed sanctioned as a virtue by the establishment, it'll never happen. If you tried to bring it into the open, you'd soon be dead.

4. How much have you researched on the net on your own? |
|
You might be able to find some of this if you do some Google searches. At least some articles on it.

10. And have the NSA breathing down my neck for researching WMD's? |
|
I am not a researcher. I let reporters and writers of books do that. I was hoping someone here at DU had read some books or articles they could point me to.

Like I said, I am not a researcher. There is an art to doing research, which I do not possess, since I do not make a living writing about such things.

5. How long would they live if anyone dared to take a real look at |

weapons proliferation? We know that our government supplies many of the weapons of the world and often to people we later have wars with such as Iraq. How much and how legal - who knows.
