Question about the chimps possible veto of stem cells.

I had a thought about the Chimp's possible veto of H.R. 810 the Stem Cell Enhancement act. What I am asking is this. Are we just paying for a dog and poney show for the religious right? I mean what is the purpose of having congress debate a bill that your going to veto automaticaly? Why are we wasting tax payer money arguing this if chimpy is going to veto it. Has anyone else considered the reason for this? Have I told you lately how much I despise the Bush crime family lately? Only a diseased maniac would get a joy of exploiting others for his and his bases amuzement. How can anyone think that the chimp is a christian at this point is beyond me. I don't even consider him to be human.
