Couple Charged with Luring Sexual Predators to Church & Robbing Them

CARROLLTON, OHIO (AP) -- Two people have been charged with luring sexual predators to a church and robbing them, authorities said. Michael Barnett, 22, and Maria Catini, 21, both of Salineville, were arrested Saturday and were being held in eastern Ohio's Carroll County jail, each on one count of extortion and one count of aiding and abetting, sheriff's Deputy Ron Clapper said Monday.

I don't think I've ever seen bond set that high for a sexual predator, but 1 million bail for a gang of creative muggers?

A bail like that -- compared to what sexual predators get -- sends the message that money is more important than humans.
