Letterman: "He's (Chimp) drinking again!"
He said this last night in reference to the back massage Heir Chimp gave the German chancellor. Got a huge round of applause and laughter.

4. if he is drinking, he MUST be impeached
i mean, he must be impeached anyway. but clearly a former drunk back on the bottle is unfit. cut and dried.

6. and the "she smiled" crap in the media
that isn't a smile it is a grimace. it is the expression all women get when some guy who think she is god's gift decides to bestow his "touch" on us.

i almost lost my pop-tarts....

19. Pooty obviously was enabling him....
if you look closely there is an ice bucket containing some bottles chilling in the background, and along the two tables behind them there are various bottles. Not a very good scenario for a former drunk. Pooty has a glass of water in front of him.

13. From what I saw..
on the video, she was engrossed in writing notes or something. He totally blind-sided her, and for a split-second it looked like she was going to slug him. I wish she had. On the other hand, the bombs would probably be falling on Germany as we speak.

Good Touch, Bad Touch, Presidential Style

How stupid? Well....
Massimo Pigliuci, who writes Rationally Speaking as well as being a professor at SUNY Stony Brook asked, How stupid is Bush, really? The answer, my friend, is infinitely stupid. Stupid without boundries. Dr. Pigliucci was frustrated by Bush’s (then anticipated, now actual) veto of the stem cell research funding bill, because it demonstrates such monumental stupidity. There’s every reason to be frustrated. As the wife of a Type 1 diabetic and as a human being, I’m outraged. I’m not sure that this is where Bush demonstrates intelligence or lack thereof, though. This has more of the smell of Karl, playing to the base, and what’s left of the base is pretty intellectually limited.

Still, I’m not in the ’Bush is crazy like a fox’ school of thought. I think he’s really a moron. I doubt he’s made many real decisions as president. Maybe he thinks he’s The Decider, but even that sounds more like someone whispering in his ear, saying, ’You’re the one who decides. Don’t let the public tell you what to do. It’s up to you. Here’s what you’ve decided...’ Just like his belief that history will vindicate him. Can’t you just hear that pep talk going on? Someone is no doubt assigned to list all the leaders in history who were reviled in their own times but have come to be regarded as astute or even great and repeat them to him every so often. Only thing is...Bush isn’t going to make that list.

If you had any doubts about Bush’s intellectual prowess, hasn’t his bufoonery at the G8 Summit put an end to them? First there was the Pig Roast comment and then he recommended that Russia should aspire to become more like Iraq. If that weren’t enough, after attacking the Chancellor of Germany with an unasked for massage...or something, he solved the problem of the current mayhem in the Middle East by suggesting that, ’We got to get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit.’ And he said it with his mouth full. While chewing.

Bush reminds me of the Italian on the train caught massaging
the guy's neck when they go through the dark tunnel.
