Tucker Carlson is a moron (not late breaking news)
I just saw him interview the Lebanese ambassador to the UN. He started off with a panoramic shot of the Israel-Lebanon-Syria border, noting with wonderment that the border was obvious because it was green on the Israeli side and brown on the Lebanese side. Why was that? he wondered, before introducing the ambassador.

"I can tell you why that is," said the ambassador. "It's because when Israel occupied our land for 20 years they diverted all the water to Israel."

"Oh," replied Carlson. After a long pause, he suggested "maybe they should irrigate it."

Carlson then asked with amazement about rumors Lebanese Army units were joined Hezbollah to fight against the Israelis. How could that be? he asked. The ambassador patiently explained that Lebanon was under attack it was the job of the military to defend the country. "If not now, when?" he asked.

Why doesn't Lebanon just expel Hezbollah? asked Carlson. "Hezbollah is not a foreign element," explained the ambassador. "It is the villagers of the south who lived 20 years under Israeli occupation. Hezbollah is part of Lebanon."

I applaud the ambassador for his patience. My replies would have been along the line of: "Why don't you get at least a minimal clue about what is going on here before you parachute in and pretend to be a reporter, you fucking smirking moron."

7. He's looked a little peaked lately. Maybe his bowtie was what gave him
his sense of identity. Without it ...he can't think he's a younger version of George Will.

6. They gave him two time slots....and yes ...he is very uninformed.
I don't know why Faux hasn't picked him up. He would do well there in a lite comedy format with a little Propaganda thrown in. :-(

Dan Abrams gave him his new Prime Time slots. What does that say about MSRNC.

9. Bingo!! It is a WATER ISSUE
I remember hearing a lecture on NPR -- alternative radio from a women who has studied International Water politics for years.

She predicted that modern major battles would be fought over water -- and she predicted that war would be taking place between Israel and Lebanon.

Green on Israeli side -- brown on Lebanon side . . .

Water, Women and War
by Laura Santina

Water was the biggest buzz at the 2004 Women’s International League of Peace and Freedom Congress in the little town of Kungälv, Sweden. Who has it? Who needs it? Who does it belong to? Is it clean enough to drink? Are we running out of it? Will it be the next excuse for war? During the week-long conference, which included official reports from twelve countries, over 300 sisters from 31countries discussed the condition, distribution and availability of water in their own countries.
