Tonight: "The Airport Road" (Iraq) on 60 Minutes. Very good report |
|
...but it just finished in the Eastern Time zone.
I don't know who the female reporter was (sounded British or maybe South African) but she was very brave to go there, and to show that much skin in front of deployed American solders in Iraq.

Logan was the only American network journalist in Baghdad when American troops invaded the city, reporting live from Firdos Square as the statue of Saddam fell. Her reporting from the frontlines of Afghanistan and with the Green Berets searching for Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden appeared on 60 Minutes II, where she was a contributor from 2002 to 2004, and on the CBS Evening News, The Early Show and CBS News Radio, for which she served as a general assignment reporter. Her other 60 Minutes II reports include an interview with the King of Swaziland, who was being sued by the mother of a girl who was taken to be his 10th wife, and a report on legalized assisted suicide in Switzerland.

I'll look to see if they have the report on-line somewhere. Well, about 1/4 of it is at this link: < http://www.cbsnews.com/sections/60minutes/main3415.shtml>

2. Pre-empted here in DFW area by the low-speed chase. |
|
Semi on I-20 with front tires and most other tires blown out with a low speed chase west on I-20...coming my way. Kinda funny 'cuz it looks like someone could just jog along side the semi and keep up with no problem....at a low speed, LOL! Pissed me off because I wanted to see what was on 60 Minutes!

from 2 ufo's I watched, from 4 a.m.,till daylight,today..near as I can figure, closest to me was over Lake Lewisville, the other over Dallas..I'm not kidding. Wasn't 'spooky', tho.. I got the Feeling They were rooting for the PEACE-Makers ~===]
As for this 60 Minutes, local cbs is pretty good at running pre-empted programs, but I will contact 'em, ask that they run this show,asap.. Texas has lost so many over there. p.s can't wait for Night-fall,tonight.."look UP!" :)
