Aug. 16 - Bush in Lancaster PA to do fundraiser for Swann
HARRISBURG - President Bush plans to visit Pennsylvania next month to be the guest of honor at a fund-raising reception for Republican gubernatorial nominee Lynn Swann, the Swann campaign confirmed yesterday.

Tickets for a private reception and photo opportunity with the president are $10,000 per person or couple. Tickets for a general reception are $650 a person or $1,000 for a couple.

Both events, on Aug. 16, will be at the Eden Resort Inn and Suites in Lancaster.

Dubya's in town?

It seems as if Swann has enough problems in the polls already without bringing the very source of those problems in to speak in his behalf.

As Republicans go, Swann's several leaps ahead of Dubya in the food chain.
