Haven't heard from them in days. Or is the US too busy to keep the show going?

1. I'd suspect they're pretty busy...
handling enrollment.

2. Doubt it. But they're not teaming up with Hezbollah
From what I understand, OBL and Hez leader hate each other.

3. By al-qaeda, do you mean The Base.
Because that is what al-qaeda means. The Base.

It's what the Taliban called Afghanistan. Afghanistan is al-quaeda, or The Base.

There is no terrorist organization called al-quaeda. It's a myth.

6. A myth
created by our govt to serve their own ends. And as the govt is a tad busy right now, that spinning story is on the side lines.

10. It's a brand, not a myth
Even if we created it, it certainly has a real existence now, just like any other brand does when released into the wild. It's Youth Culture, in a Sunni Arab context, with Kalashnikovs.

4. OBL is watching and waiting.
He will wait until Bush has thoroughly discredited the US by shredding every vestige of credibility in the ME. We will have no friends when he strikes again. And I think that will be sooner than later.

5. Seems so.

They're having a hard time figuring out how to spin it to their benefit.

They don't want a group of apostates getting power, that would be contrary to the rules of submission; but they can't possibly side with Israel, for the same reasons. They don't mind Muslims looking good, but Shi'ite Muslims ... not really Muslims. Shi'ites are Muslims when AQ can get mileage out of their deaths, but not out of their boneheaded mistakes or their victories.

If the conflict expands to kill Sunnis, look for the spin that Nasrallah and the Zionists were in cahoots to subvert good Muslims. If Hezbollah wins, weakened, it'll be a ploy by Allah to have the enemy of true Muslim's do battle and weaken each other, to aid the ultimate victory of the good by having the bad guys kill each other off.

7. Your threads are the worst.
They're all vague two liners, with no links, and little involvement from you.

8. AQ and Hez hate each other as much as they hate us
If anything AQ is, like SA and Egypt, quietly chuckling that Israel is doing their dirty work for them.

9. For the most part, al Qaeda doesn't exist. It's just a label Pukes
tie to terrorism to scare you. (Less you still believe there are 10,000 sleeper cells waiting for the word, right here in your country.)
