I've been noticing how repubs are changing their tunes...
since they know this is a election year. Newt is trying to slink into position and Hastert is trying to act like he cares about whether or not Ney leads anything. Everyone is posing in front of the cameras and trying to get ahead of the lobbying scandals, rove, frist,Delay and more... Who else is trying to change their spots until after the election. We have to let new voters and others know what the real deal is.

1. They know they are losing...
so they are trying anything to influence votes. In the end, they will lose.

2. Yeah, but they're still off-key.
And the lyrics remain the same: kiss up to the rich, grab the cash, dump on the poor, stomp on worker rights, kick those who differ, and all the time wave the flag. With those lyrics, the tune doesn't much matter.

3. I wonder what is their game plan ...
when they all get back to voting.

4. Not my co-worker
I share an office with a Republican. We try to avoid political talk, but today I couldn't resist telling her that Bob Barr, Grover Norquist and other rightwing Rethugs have joined Al Gore and other Democrats in opposing the B*sh Misadministration's domestic spying.

Her comment: But Clinton did it.

He didn't, actually, but there is almost no point talking to someone whose mind is firmly nailed shut and who perpetually excuses any Rethug misdeeds by claiming Clinton set the precedent.
