Katherine Harris hires bigoted CHILD to run her campaign
Edited on Sun Jul-30-06 11:39 PM by Bluebear

Katherine Harris' new campaign manager is an energetic young conservative best known for an anti-gay marriage initiative in Massachusetts and for bringing actor and National Rifle Association President Charlton Heston to speak at his liberal college.

Bryan Rudnick, a member of the Palm Beach County Republican Executive Committee, was named her fourth campaign manager on Thursday.

In a statement, Harris said she was "delighted" to have Rudnick on her team, saying he "has over 10 years of experience in Florida politics."

That seemed to be a bit of a stretch, since Rudnick was a senior at Brandeis University in the spring of 2000. Soon afterward he helped found Massachusetts Citizens for Marriage, a citizen group that attempted to pass a gay marriage ban in the state.
He is the president of Alliance Strategies Group in Boca Raton, which describes itself as a political consulting firm...

1. Glad to see the Hitler Youth can still find work in this economy...
Egads. Does she have no idea what this looks like, or does she care, or is this the best she can do?

3. The "ten years in politics" line is priceless...
Edited on Sun Jul-30-06 11:46 PM by Hobarticus
Kee-rist, he's obviously a kid. Who does she think she's fooling?

On edit: well, he's not a kid, but stomping about as a Young Republican can hardly be called (with a straight face) "involved in politics". The old ladies who monitor the polling stations here in town are "involved in politics", then, too.

8. Watch it bud!!!
I'm one of those "little? old ladies" that monitor the elections!! I also am a member of our Dem. Town Comm. I have been involved in politics since I was 10 yrs old, and running all over my little hometown passing out flyers for my Dad when he ran for State Rep. (on a Dem. "shoestring budget") Everyone does their small part. I agree that he is not of the caliber needed to win an election, but who's to say that he isn't a prodigy of K Rove? I think they will loose this one tho',if they don't rig the election!! :silly:

16. A thousand apologies....
Your work does not go unappreciated, nor is it mocked. Hell, you've done more for our democracy than this clown likely has.

I guess when someone of this guy's caliber says "I've been involved with politics for ten years", and he wakes up one morning to find himself a campaign manager (!), one expects something more impressive on his resume than Young Republican cookie sales.

I should not make fun of "little old lady" poll workers when mocking Repugs. I am sorry.

5. Once one has quaffed deeply of the poison which has the
single effect of anesthetizing the soul (or its analog analogue) and that other aspect which fosters empathy and ethical compassion, the issue of whether or not it looks like a moral cesspool is of little importance.

Apparently the scale that you and I use to measure and align our ethical yardstick is not well known amongst these berserkers. Sad fools, they.

13. "Some say he doth protest too much" !!!
Don't forget J. Edgar Hoover's animosity towards homosexuals. Clyde Tolson, his long time partner, was the beneficiary of Hoover's estate upon his death.

I wish no harm upon anybody. It seems though that the Republicans are quite happy to victimize certain groups for some kind of gain, just like good ol' Hoover.

P.S. Hoover even tried to "control" MLK by sending him a recording of his extra-marital lovemaking and threatening to not only inform his wife but also the American people. It begs the question as to what the NSA is actually listening in on today, doesn't it?

9. Oh, no! Nelson is in trouble
This new guy, "specializes in strategic planning, political consulting and communications, with an emphasis on public relations and crisis management." We're doomed! There's no one on our side who knows anything about stuff like this or has this kid's experience!

DOOOOOOMED, I TELL YOU! DOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!

14. More Popcorn Anyone?
Good Old Cruella is the gift that keeps giving this campaign season. I'd almost wish she'd continue to run after Nelson hands her jiggling boobies to her in November.

But then I hear another clock ticking...it's in a Prosecutor's office. My dream is to hear of a spate of indictments coming down sometime in mid to late September or early October...one with Ms. Harris' name on it. Also let's hope for ones with the names Ney, Lewis and Doolittle.

than running a campaign for a loser in the south?

Oh wait, that sounds like something a well known person did back in 1972.. Hmmmmmm.

21. I see a bastard like that and only 1 thing comes to mine - UNFUCKABLE
That boy has been rejected left and right in the love department and therefore will do heinious things in order to exact his revenge.

I was at a pro-choice meeting in Newark at UDel and found it amusing that every single guy protesting with the anti-choice were pretty much 'unfuckable' (meaning that most women wouldn't give them the time of day)

Jack Abramoff, Brandeis Class of 1980.

:wtf: I can't understand it. How does my alma mater, a bastion of liberal thought, tolerance, and progressive ideals for over fifty years, manage to turn out these sleazy Republican assholes?
