Major media study: Repubs not paying attention (Dems either)
The Pew Research Center for the People and the Press released its biennial "news consumption" survey. As a journalist/journalism prof, I am interested in all of it. You may also want to take a look. The whole study is here: http://people-press.org/reports/display.php3?PageID=1064

1. No surprise, people hate bad news
especially the type of bad news that says somebody lied to them and they fell for it. That explains why more pubbies are tuning out.

The Repugs are tuning out international news and Iraq news.

Fox is the most distrusted news source, with 17% believing almost nothing they say.

3. well, Fox also has high credibility ratings....
it polls strongly on both ends
