El Paso to issue a State of Emergency; Mass Flooding |
|
It has been raining for the sixth straight day. Water is rising all over the city. Mudslides are developing as the desert ground can't hold anymore. The Rio Grande River is raising to the levees. El Paso looks safe from the Rio Grande because the Corp of Engineers have built the levees high enough. However, the city of Juarez is in danger because nobody built up the levee on the Mexico side. Look for mass flooding in Juarez and many people losing their homes.

2. anyone ever notice how these are happening more and more? |
|
multiple once in a hundred year storms per year? multiple once per hundred year huracanes? tornadoes so big they go off the scale? glaciers thousands of years old melting suddenly? sea currents slowing? reefs millenia old dieing? thousands of species dieing off?
A thinking person might think something is going on.
But that just liberal non-sense...

I believe that was due to remnants of a Hurricane. Laredo is about 12 hours down from El Paso and closer to the Gulf.
