Half the cities in America could be destroyed by nuclear war and Bush would still be clearing brush in Crawford.

Remember that on-mic conversation with Dubya at G8? Tony seemed kinda anxious to get GeeDub's permission to go out there and do something, "see what the lie of the land is" as he put it. But he couldn't get his bubbleheaded master, who was just interested in chawing rolls and shootin' shit, to pay attention. Now he's got to forego his vacation to deal with a bigger mess.
Poor Tony.

5. Poor Tony indeed. I will never get why such an intelligent man tied his |

wagon to a complete idiot and bumbling fool.

Gordon Brown is still on Paternity leave and this not a situation to be left in the hands of John Prescott. Also the British Press have been on the attack about the very idea of going to hoilday. Cheri could go with their little boy and a nanny, if she wanted to though.
