RW who claim they are "Independent"
You've read them on other message boards.

You know...the ones who try to "correct" you in your Bush "bashing".
They spout off with some nonsense about how they didn't like the Clinton bashing either.

Tell them the difference is that then, they were nodding their head, and now they are shaking it.

1. Nothing enrages me more!
A straight up neocon right winger I can take, altho I abhor their views. But these so called "independents" are the worst. Their "analysis" always starts out with "I don't like Bush" but ends up trying to humiliate Democrats. They are trying to smugly be above it all but they are lying hypocrites.

2. Thats radio-host Micheal Savages' schtick as well. The SOB claims
he is an "independant", but he backs up almost everything the right-wingers stand for, while pretending to dislike *, the little creep.

5. Doesn't O'Reilly claim to be an independent too?
Not sure about that, but I'm pretty sure I've read it somewhere. I've never actually watched his show myself.

8. Yeah, he does say that on his radio show, the lying gas-bag!
Its odd that so many of these right wing radio show hosts like Savage, O'Reilly despise each other, but those on our side seem to get along fairly well.

9. Independent doesn't equal neutral
And dislike for Bush doesn't equal a Democratic leaning.

3. Yeah, just like...
the Repukes in sheeps clothing who call themselves "Libertarians" (are you listening, Neal Boortz?). I know Libertarians, Libertarians are friends of mine, and you guys are no Libertarians.

These Libertarian wannabees are just elitist Repukes.

Posers.

4. Where ARE the Libertarians of yore?
I never hear from them any more. Did they die away or give it up and become Democrats (like they should have done long ago)?

Here's a suggestion for dealing with these bastards: don't let them get "I don't like Bush, but" out of their mouths without rolling your eyes and saying "here it comes, more bs about the Democrats!" OR you could say, "If you don't like BUsh, why did you vote for him"

10. I regard them as "neolibs" ...
... in favor of institutional liberties and against individual liberties. These are (Ayn-Randian) "objectivists" who affiliate with the Repukelickers who want to "drown government in a bathtub" -- throwbacks to the Southern/Western segregationists who were enraged that the federal government would step into (good ol' boy) "company towns" and prosecute the oppression of civil liberties of minorities.
