Anyone use "Working Assets" as their cell carrier?

I'm thinking about switching to them. A better deal than my Verizon account and do they really donate to Progressive causes? How's their cell coverage?

1. We do.

They use Sprint's network, and the coverage is pretty good. The only places we've had problems was in the mountains of Maryland, where there's not anything for 20 miles at a time. They do donate to progressive causes: Each year users vote on which organizations to support.

If you are giving up Verizon, let them know why. When my husband cancelled our service, he told them straight out that the reason why was because its corporate leaders have huge amounts of money to Tom Delay. Apparently, the customer service person had been hearing a lot of that.

2. Our only credit card is a Working Assets Visa.
If we ever get a cell phone we will go through them. We like them. Brings a whole new meaning to "consumer activism."

Only bad thing is that they do go through MBNA for their credit cards. But the good cancels out the bad in this case, methinks.

3. Yes, they donate. And they let you vote on how to divvy it up.
They offer long distance and a credit card too. And their cell carrier is Sprint.

NGU.

4. Working Assets
Yes, I use them for long distance, wireless and have their Visa card. Never once had a service problem and their philosophy is excellent. Highly recommend.

6. Allright.
My contract is up in March with Verizon. I'm near Philadelphia so the network should work well.
