Joe fires his entire campaign staff. |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-09-06 06:20 PM by kstewart33
From TPM Cafe:
Lieberman said that he fired his campaign manager and spokesman, and asked for the resignations of his campaign staff.
"We did not answer, adequately answer, the distortions of my record on Iraq and my relationship with George Bush, that the Lamont campaign put out," said Lieberman, though he said he did not blame campaign workers.
Update from Political Wire:
Longtime Lieberman aide Sherry Brown and his former senate press secretary Dan Gerstein have joined the campaign. In addition, The Hotline notes all remaining staff and consultants have resigned.

15. Yes - I think he had to do this |
|
to avoid the constant stories of either aides quitting because he was a traitor, or constant infighting on the campaign.
He probably should have announced they all resigned and then any who wanted to come back could.

It's everyone's fault but Lieberman, apparently. He'll turn on his staff, his constituents & the Democratic Party, while never admitting any mistakes of his own. I'm so very glad he's gone & wish him the worst of luck in the Nov. election. He's worse than Katherine Harris!
