29 Pakistanis ready to give up their lives for a cause... |
|
Suicide bombers. That's a lot of suicide bombers in one place, don't you think? Even in places like Iraq, I would think it would be difficult to get 29 bombers at one time to give up their lives fighting the Great Satan (US). The British had an infiltrator but the US picked up the chatter and they decided to bust the plot when they did? They have known about it for months, but it is only a coincidence that they decided to carry it out at this time. Even though they "foiled" the plot, they still forced the travelers to empty all their containers, including baby bottles. Why? Sometimes it seems like they may be down to their last card and this is it?

3. ...yup. and think about this - are we fools or what? the plot is foiled.. |
|
they got the bad guys. yet....yet....all hell breaks loose in the US. Travel disrupted everywhere. Foolish rules suddenly implemented - all sorts of things tosses away. Knee jerk reactions...thankfully, no one lost their lives. But again, the terrorists win. Because many in the US are shaking in their boots - not living freely. I don't get it - why are so many so vulnerable to fear?

They caught them and they were in England. Why the restrictions in the US? How are those NSA wiretaps working? How are those no-fly lists working out? The trolling of the internet and spying on our e-mails, how did they help? Why did they wait so long to change the rules concerning liquids in America if they knew about the investigations?

4. You are right to be skeptical, but |

Pakistan is a country of 150 million...Iraq has less than 29 million. Pakistan is also a highly radicalized society with madrassahs churning out thousands of fundies every year. I am not surprised that these suspects are all Pakistanis (or of that origin).
