OK, so you are a terrorist and have a liquid bomb |
|
Its been blabbed all over the news that liquids are being xray and banned.
Whats to stop a terrorist from carrying the liquid in a glass vial over his crotch area?
Whats to stop a terrorist from carrying the liquid in a glass vial in his anus?
Yea its disgusting I know, but prisons do body cavity searches of prisoners for this very reason (and even they fail to keep weapons/drugs out)
TSA DOES NOTHING.
It just makes a few people feel good about standing in line.

4. Those do resolve the issue of on body carry |
|
But those machines are rare and easy to avoid (just enter the airport system at an airport without one...which is most)
Plus it doesnt solve the body cavity problem.

13. Their sophistication is growing. |
|
The most obvious point to be made in this whole episode to me is that the SOPHISTICATION of their methods has been steadily improving ("liquid" explosives??? That's not schoolyard science).
From the low-tech "box cutters" and using planes as missiles, to plastique shoe bombs, and now liquid explosives, the people that want us dead are becoming more technically savvy and ingenious.
A good "former-Conservative" friend of mine first forsaw the coming uptick in violence in Iraq back in 2004 when insurgents began using "shaped charges" in their bombs and rockets. "Shaped charges" are basically projectiles that turn themselves inside out when detonated, cutting through steel like a hot knife through butter. This is a VERY sophisticated delivery system that no madrasa-schooled uneducated sheep-hearder is going to figure out on his own. This is the product of an EDUCATED enemy with military training.
And sure enough, Iraq has steadly grown more violent, the bombs are more deadly today that they were when this all started, and the violence has not improved one bit. Expect the same from any future "9/11 style" attacks.

18. I'm not sure they are all that "sophisticated" or... |
|
.. ingenious. They're just relying on the fact that we will not make any monetary expenditures to really secure our safety. We'll do what's cheap; take the shoes off, drink the breast milk. They play us. Both of "them".
Checked the incoming cargo shipments lately?
