For what its worth . . .

the Dixie Chicks video was number one again this week on VH1. This makes 8 weeks in a row; the record is 10.

The placement is determined by voters on the web, sooooo . . . if you get a chance sometime in the upcoming week go on over to http://www.vh1.com/vspot/index.jhtml?name=music&id=1533444&purl=/shows/series/top_20_countdown/">VH1 and cast a vote (and be sure to view the video if you haven't seen it).

Just another way to get the message to more people.

I'm not much on C&W either (got my fill growing up in Nashville), but this song has a great message - gets me worked up every time I hear it.
