Good For My Repub Guv (refuses to go on O'Lielly.)
or any other national TV talk show. He also blasted O'Leilly for his push to boycott Vermont, saying it was completely unfair to try and punish the state for the poor decision by one judge. I wish politicians with some sense, repub or dem would follow in his footsteps and shun shows like Hannity, O'Leilly, etc.

4. I Can Give You One Reason, WC!
Because we need to be able to use that forum against them. Now, the issue is whether we can find representatives for the cause who will go on the air and stomp on the morons the way Al Sharpton did the other day. Going on there and being a mealy-mouth mouthpiece who can't get a clear message out because of the other side's distortions is, as you suggest, useless.

But, we need people who will not go on the air and say to a conservative that states "The Abramoff scandal is bipartisan", "No, that is a lie!" Don't tell them they're mistaken. Don't tell them their information is incorrect. CALL THEM A LIAR! So far, we have woefully few who are willing to play rhetorical hardball.

5. Jim Douglas
Vermont. And though I'd love to see the likely dem nominee who's a terrific guy, beat him, I can live with it if Douglas wins. We have a solidly dem and liberal house and senate.
