Why does bush get so angry & petulant at reporters?
I mean, why is he so full of rage all the time, he gets every fucking thing he wants in spades, what makes him so testy and pissy at these press conferences?

He clearly hates having them, and he clearly hates every reporter he calls on, you can just see the revulsion and disgust in his face and hear it in his terse responses.

His phony aw shucks demeanor is fading and giving way to his inner hatred and rage. At yesterday's press conference he almost exploded there toward the end, voice getting louder and face getting redder. He's coming apart before the world.

Is it because he doesn't understand the questions, or that he's simply offended by anything other than sucking up? How dare these liberal reporters make waves and ask embarrassing questions?

What makes georgey so angry all the time?

1. A would-be dictator hates people who question his authority
It would be easier for him if it were a dictatorship. They'd all be placed in a concentration camp somewhere deep in the interior of the US.

7. brain strain
His simian brain is overloaded by the strain of trying to remember the lies Cheney phoned in.
If he could just get these people locked up where he could fling poo at them everything would be all right.

You said "simian brain". I would have thought Silverspoon had a subsimian brain! I know my dog is smarter than he is.

Remember, they are not part of the reality-based community, so that type of thing plays well to them.

6. I saw him for about 5 min. and he looked bored
When they used him as head man I guess he said he would do as they said and push what they wanted and it has made him the most hated man in the world and for a 'good time' Joe it does not work well on him. Heck he is in office because of his name not on what he has done and now even his vacation time is cut short. I just feel the man is the head man for these nut cases behind him who want to rule the world. And no one can run anything. Every thing is a mess and guess who is the front man? The man who wanted to be liked by his own class any how. This can not be an ego builder.I think Bush's vision thing was what he wanted to be thought of not what he was thinking for his country.

24. You are so right. GWB is nothing more than the cheerleader for
the neocons. They make the decisions and he makes the announcements. He doesn't like to be questioned about what his policies are because he has no idea what they mean.

12. bush* has some degree of mental illness
It stems from bush's sense of entitlement as an old-money patrician--he cannot cope with up and coming people being competitive. Then there is bush's awful mother--she is a sick, mean woman.

To your point, "he couldn't pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were written on the heel", or so says Texas reporter Molly Ivins.

16. He is totally managed, coached, tutored, and lied to. They tell him
Edited on Tue Aug-15-06 07:33 AM by higher class
things to prop up what appears to be low self-esteem or self doubt.

I believe the evidence shows they have been telling him how great he is, how much he is loved, how right their world takeover plan is, and how securely the media will support him and them.

But he is not out of it to the point of knowing that their little world is becoming more transparent.

What it means is that there is a major problem in 'contradiction'. What we see are clashes between what they tell him and what he 'feels' the reality to be and what they tell him to say.

My two cheap cents.

17. His feeling of entitlement.
After all, he's had things handed to him his entire life--never being allowed to fail, never really having to work to achieve anything. His silver-spoon existence gives him a feeling of entitlement and anyone who dares question his motives or decisions risks incurring his wrath. How DARE anyone question him! We're all beneath him, at least in his mind's eye.
I blame the parents. They indulged the spoiled brat, never letting him fail or take his lumps for doing so. Someone always cleaned up after him while he was off to his newest adventure in failure. His parents were complete failures with their children. Not one of them grew up to be a decent human being and Babs and George Sr. shoulder the entire blame.

22. Bush is fully aware that he is not qualified for the position he holds.
He is also out of the loop, IMO, on most of the decisions made and has a hard time coming up with a coherent answer to the questions he's asked regarding these decisions. It's hard work trying to BS your way through a press conference when you have no idea what you are talking about. That's why he sticks to the talking points he has been given even if they bear no relevance to the questions being asked.

23. He's had a cushioned, easy life ...
... and expected that lifestyle to not only continue, but to be enhanced by the "power and glory" of the presidency.

Unfortunately, reality DOES bite -- and wittle georgie is mad because his plans for an easy coast through the prezidentin' have gone awry.

No wonder he constantly yaps about "hard werk"! Never having done any "hard werk" in his useless life, he whines and whinges when faced with what most adults have to deal with each and every day.

26. He's way out of his depth, and knows it, and knows the reporters know it
No one will ask him questions which will 100% nail it down and prove it for all the world to see (veins bulging, eyes starting, spittle flying, voice screeching) but to be in front of a room full of people who know what they do is just too much for the self-image of this tiny, tiny man.

27. He's ready to cut and run....
if you look at the Chimp's past, he has never stuck with anything in his life. Whenever he gets bored, fucks something up beyond repair, or simply doesn't feel like doing something anymore he bolts. Poppy pays off or gets rid of whoever needs to be bought and that's the end of it.

Well, guess what, being Prez is no longer keeping the Chimp's interest anymore. It's hard work. He can't even take month long vacations anymore. He'd rather be at the ranch riding his bicycle, cutting brush, and getting sloppy drunk with his buds every night, and he can't.

That and his lies are catching up to him. He figures if he acts pissed and snippy, they'll back off.

:nopity:

31. Pissed at Mom & Poppy. Always will be. That's a big reason
the neocons picked him for puppet. He is a sick puppy, but a predictable and malleable sick puppy they can wield like a big ol gun.

His petulance is just part of that arrested development thing and a sign that he is figuring out he is not running things. Stress comes when you have no control over the situation. He is stressed.
