Two more reasons to support Jon Tasini September 12.
I heard a portion of a debate between the two Republican candidates, John Spencer and K.T. McFarland. Apparently Mr. Spencer had an affair with a subordinate, gave her a substantial raise and later married her. As Ms.McFarland was so kind to point put, President Clinton was impeached for less. Both of these bozos are stumbling over each other trying to be the stronger supporter of Bush and the war in Iraq. There is no way either one could touch the Democratic candidate regardless of who it is. We can freely vote for the nominee we want without any fear of handing over the Senate seat to a Republican.

1. Tasini could beat either but won't get past Sen. Lieberwoman.
22 million $$$ vs. 100,000, plus no debates is not a fair fight.

Even Rangel was unaware as of yesterday that Clinton had a primary opponent.

2. Is Hillary still saying
we need more troops in Iraq?

3. Didn't he slam Lamont after the primary
And will he apologize for that slam?

Otherwise I don't see how he's better than Hilary.

4. Yes, and notice how all the ideologues here conveniently forget about that

Tasini said Lamont is not a progressive Democrat.

Also notice how Tasini didn't have the guts to say that BEFORE the primary.

7. One report says he slammed Lamont, other reports say he congratulated him.
I suspect the first report may be incomplete or out of context. Some talk over at Daily Kos suggests that there have been lies circulated about Tasini.

6. My point was that there is no danger in supporting Tasini
Edited on Tue Aug-15-06 07:57 PM by hedgehog
It was meant as a response to those who would insist that even if they'd rather have Tasini, we must support Hillary or lose the Senate seat.
