David Sirota just reported this on the Al Franken Show.
Sirota said that the GOP is offering him committee appointments etc.

Harry Reid needs to do that as soon as he gets this endorsement, if not sooner.
What is he waiting for?

3. Oh but joe is a democrat, just ask him |
|
The sweat pumps must be about overswhelmed in the white house, needing to keep a war mongering "democrat" in the senate to maintain a gop majority. And for the loyal party member running for senate, well just fuck him.

4. I think this is going to reduce Joe's supporters! |
|
All he kept saying toward the end of his campaign was "I am a DEMOCRAT!" "I've always been a GOOD DEMOCRAT, and I vote with the Dems 90% of the time!"
His opposition keeps saying he votes with the Pubs on the important issues!
Almost complete support by the REPUBLICANS only proves the position of Joe's opposition! I think the only thing better that we could hope for is for Shrub to KISS him again!

6. One would think so. It is really not that complicated. |
|
Joe* had polled best in the primary with poorer and older Democrats, but this headline ought to squash his popularity in that part of the electorate that is the Democratic base.
*Joe is getting an asterisk because he is now an anomaly in the record books like bush*. Joe was caught with no testosterone.

8. What Happens If He Wins? |
|
I realize that everybody here is so convinced he has no chance, but if and when he wins, and becomes a repub vote, will we have any regrets?
If his vote ends up keeping the Senate in repub hands, will we be sad? Just another hurdle for the Dems to get past. I'll still believe the big Dem victories when I see them November 7.

If by backing Liberman the GOP can keep power some more power in Congress then how does that make the democrats look?! BAD, BAD, BAD! For the average American, a headline of Liberman wins with Rupulican endorsement will just send shockwaves. A very shrewd play by the Republicans. Very impressive. Democrats need to counter this quick. Send Liberman on a very long vacation. Black mail, whatever, GET HIM OUT OF THERE!

10. Well, Lieberman now seems to have lined up both ... |
|
the Democratic and Republican senatorial campaign committees. Sounds like a conflict of interest to me. Someone should point this out to the DSCC.
