I'll fly with people who carry water bottles on board. Hell, I don't mind if they're swigging a Coca-Cola or a Mai Tai.

I'll fly with people who have moisturizer on them. Hey, can I borrow some? This stale cabin air makes my hands chafe.

I'll fly with men who have turbans on their heads or women who are wearing burkas.

I'll fly with people who have nail clippers, nail files or Swiss Army knives.

I'll fly with people who have black skin, brown skin, red skin, yellow skin or white skin. Aw heck, throw in folks with freckles.

I'll fly with people who are wearing sneakers, cowboy boots or dress shoes.

I'll fly with people using GameBoys, laptop computers, PSPs and portable DVD players.

I'm not interested in flying with people who pop their gum, talk non-stop, slide off their wedding rings when I sit down beside them, reek of perfume (cheap or expensive) or think warrantless wiretapping is fine and dandy as long as they have the perception of being safer.

I want to fly in a country where the government is prudent, not paranoid or opportunistic.
