best thing I've seen on TV in a long, long time. Even better than the DSM hearings. There are actually some people (in Congress even!) that get it. That understand we have a King George on the loose and how dangerous that is. The guy Fein actually said that. It was riveting. And will any of this crucial hearing be played on regular tv into the homes of "regular" Americans?

Conyers, and these real leaders at the hearing haven't given up the fight. They are all that's giving me some hope. Watch it if you have any chance. WE aren't crazy on DU and we aren't alone.

6. Will history dub these the "Basement Hearings"?

It was riveting for me, too. I need to check the c-span schedule to see if it will be replayed. If so, I'm going to tape it. What I REALLY want to know is where are the decent republicans? Fein, Paul Craig Roberts, and a few others just isn't enough! Where are the republicans who still value honor and decency, the Constitution...?

9. Same thoughts

Loyalty to King George before the constitution, the people. Loyalty to party above all else. And they say it can't happen here. But it's even hard to get all the Dems on board. What does that say? It's not another day at the office. The rubicon has been crossed and King George is saying," I did it, I don't care..I will do it again." And the rule of law says? I'm sure the Republicons are in denial too. It's much easier than risking your job. But their job is supposed to be more than just a way to have a fat cat life. It's supposed to be about something more. History is watching.

justice on the SCOTUS. Yet the repubbies aren't yelping about a unitary executive, someone who will actually enable dictatorial powers in the form of Dimson**. I'm glad it's Fri. I think that I need a beer.

he just doesn't see? I never did see Bob Barr's remarks that were going to be made intoducing Al Gore, but I was told that he said the preznit is daring us to stop him. Let's hope the rank and file repo's take up the dare.
