Rumsfeld says terrorists manipulate media

4. Rumsfeld needs to learn if it doesn't happen, it can't be photographed.

So instead of worrying about people photographing prisoner abuse and it getting into the media, (for instance) maybe he should focus on preventing prisoner abuse. The only alternative is to create a society with a blindfold on it, to prevent people from knowing reality, which makes for a stupid, weak, misinformed nation!

Well, it takes one to know one.

Does anyone remember the "Office of Strategic Influence"? When the Pentagon said it would lie to us for our own good? Sure, they say "international media", but anyone willing to lie to foreign media would probably lie to anyone.
