Declare Democratic Party A Terrorist Organization ...

"Traitor" is the word America hating RW fundnuts call those who do not follow shrub blindly. Listen to RW radio and it is clear, GOP is whipping up the base using hate and fear.

Will it be much longer before the Democratic Party is declared a terrorist organization? The only real question is will this happen before or after the November 2006 elections?

1. Fair enough
Then a Democratic president could declare PNAC a terrorist organization.

2. Most of your common galoots already use the terminology
I've heard many of them calling into cspan, and talk about open season on liberals. They actually do see us as the real threat.

3. Cheney has already done that when he said that Lieberman's loss
would make America less safe.

The repukes only have fear to work with. It is the only tool that works for them in the last 30 years, all they can use is FEAR.

5. You know, it may not be a bad idea. It's like Randi said, everything they
declare war on only creates more of that thing. War on drugs brings us more drugs and more pushers. War on terrorism brings us more terrorists and violence. War on poverty brings us more homeless people. Heck, declare war on Democrats and we'll be springing up everywhere! Our majority status will be secure for a long time.

8. There may a grain of truth in this. People get upset when they think othe
others are being picked on UNFAIRLY. Of course the goal is for them to VOTE Democrat not just say they are Democrats.

10. One step at a time. If I can get people to start saying they agree with
Democratic thinking, it's just a short step to them actually voting for the ideas they vocally say they agree with.

The 14 Characteristics of Fascism
by Lawrence Britt
Spring 2003
Free Inquiry magazine

Political scientist Dr. Lawrence Britt recently wrote an article about fascism ("Fascism Anyone?," Free Inquiry, Spring 2003, page 20). Studying the fascist regimes of Hitler (Germany), Mussolini (Italy), Franco (Spain), Suharto (Indonesia), and Pinochet (Chile), Dr. Britt found they all had 14 elements in common. He calls these the identifying characteristics of fascism. The excerpt is in accordance with the magazine's policy.

The 14 characteristics are:

1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism

2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights

3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause

4. Supremacy of the Military

5. Rampant Sexism

6. Controlled Mass Media

7. Obsession with National Security

8. Religion and Government are Intertwined

9. Corporate Power is Protected

10. Labor Power is Suppressed
