My Freeper BIL used the "appeasement" strawman on me over 2 years ago |
|
I am surprised it took the White House this long to catch up with his farseeing perspective. :eyes:
When the Madrid bombings occurred in 2004, he said that was what Spain gets for "appeasing" the terrorists by pulling out of Iraq.
When it comes to right-wingers, no stretch of logic, no false analogy, no fake dichotomy, no distortion of truth, is too big or too idiotic for a neocon.

2. Has your BIL served in the military? |
|
No doubt if he is so concerned that we do not appease someone, or something, he would be more than happy to tote the hardware. Your BIL and his kind make me insane. Offer to drive him down to the Army Recruiting Station regardless of his current status; if he chooses not to then question his patriotism. Those fuckers cook my goose.

9. Of course he has never served |
|
He's just above the current recruiting age now.
I just hope my nephew escapes his influence. Luckily he is only 5 and not aware of those matters.

I'm insane with these motherfuckers. Tell him you will take him to the Army Recruiting Station and help him request an age waiver. If not, tell him he can go to work for Halliburton driving a truck in Fallujah. If he doesn't he's a fucking unpatriotic coward, in other words, a typical "conservative." Our country and our constitution, I believe, are far more important than family ties. I'd bludgeon the motherfucker.

I am civil to him (which is easy 2500 miles away) for the sake of peace with my sister and my nephew, but I would just as soon gouge an icepick through my ear than talk politics with him.
He made the above comment in an email. My sister made him stop after that. :-)
