How to download really really old radio shows? |
|
Edited on Sun Sep-03-06 02:49 AM by patrioticliberal
How would one download really really old radio shows, i.e. 1990 Mike Malloy? WhiteRoseSociety only goes back til 2003 or so. Any idea if there is a way to grab shows of Mike on WSB in 1990 for example (or any of his other shows in the '90s)? They have one file there of him from that time period.

2. there are several binary usenet groups that carry old radio shows |
|
I don't remember the names offhand, they should be easy to find. I haven't checked them in a while, but most of the content is radio shows from the 30s to the 50s. I haven't seen much Mike Malloy there.
You might post a request on one of these groups for someone to post Mike Malloy shows from 1990, someone could have some stashed away.
Also see www.oldradio.net. This deals with really old shows back as far as the 30s.
