I know, I know but think about it.

All he would have to do is move to Mexico for a little while, shave his beard, pick up some Spanish, et voila. Heck, we probably caught him at the border once or twice and deported him "back" to Mexico. He could even just stay in Mexico or some other country of course.

My point is that OBL or any Al Qaeda cell member would have a better standard of living and have less chance of being caught over here. Bush said it himself: "We are fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them here." So maybe they will just take him up on it and come over here.

The GOP and their patsies seem to think that we are somehow safer. They continue to deceive themselves with that delusion, because to admit otherwise is to admit the unmitigated security disaster Bush has wrought. A new terrorist pipeline to America might be as follows.

• Kid in in Saudi Arabian madrassa decides to strike a blow against the infidels.


• He goes to one of Bush's new Al Qaeda strongholds in Iraq (much safer there than in Saudi Arabia).


• He trains with weapons in Iraq, and picks up some of the 380-odd tons of high explosives that Bush allowed to be stolen from Al Quaqa.


• The kid's friends in Iraq give him enough money to live comfortably in Panama (not that much money either).


• He moves to Panama to learn Spanish and create an identity. He takes some of the high explosives with him, adding them to the secret stash already in Panama courtesy of his predecessors.


• He adopts Mexican attire and travels to Mexico. There, he crosses the border into the United States.
