Reports Story of Last Month's Leon County, FL Election Results Flip and Even October's GAO Report on Lack of Security, Accuracy in Electronic Voting Machines!
Better Late Than Never!

We're torn between complaining about Washington Post's delinquency in covering anything to do with our crumbling electoral system and jumping for joy that they've actually filed a credible report on the problems we (and many other "conspiracy theorists", "sore-losers", "tinfoil hat wearers", "anarchists" and "insurgents") have been yelling and screaming about for months -- if not years!

Given our endlessly optimistic nature, however, and the dearth of honest-to-God reporting by the Mainstream Corporate Media on these matters since...well, forever...we'll go ahead, slap a siren on this item, and focus on the "victory" side of things!

In tomorrow's paper, page A6, in a "Special to The Washington Post", Zachary Goldfarb covers the matter of last month's hack of Diebold optical scan machines in Leon County, Florida which completely flipped the results of a mock election test without a trace being left behind.

As well, for the first time, WaPo even discusses some of the findings of the non-partisan Government Accountability Office (GAO) 107-page report on the failures of electronic voting machines which was released last October!...

20. Stunning....the WaPost is a harbinger...this their first shot & it's big.

The Post had marched with * lock step over the cliff into the abyss. They supported everything, the most important of which for * was his illegitimate election. They waver every time they start on an issue. And get this, their most aggressive critic of * is Dana Milbank, the punk who dissed Conyers. The punk who failed to blow the whistle on Gannon.

I saw this in the early AM and was thrilled. I'm happier to see it here.

The truth is that For years and years, the American People, We the People, have had our voices ignored stuck in a machine that no one understands. this is obvious enough if you do a little reaserch at such places like www.blackboxvoting.org www.votergate.tv and other such places that only virtually exist on the internet. But the TV's and Radios don't even mention it, Why? Because the Radios and TV's are controlled by no more then 6 people. the internet is controlled by us. We the People Have control of the internet. 30. Apparently, Diebold pronounced to the effect that no honest

election supervisor would permit such machine fraud to occur; as if, historically, electoral fraud and/or voter repression had not been, not merely endemic, but virtually the prime defining characteristic of US elections - by both parties! In the past, evidently, in a very much more limited way - though still shamelessly inordinate.

Fortunately(/unfortunately), since these people are out of control, and complete strangers to self-control, a sea-change in US voting ethics (and in every other ethical sphere), to bring you in line with Western Europe, now seems inevitable. Surely, it is a question of time, and a brief time, at that. Not that most Western European countries are any great shakes, of course. Least of all the UK, where the corporatists with their puppet Blair at the helm, run rampant completely unopposed.
