Whoa - THE "NUMBER' IS UP TO 2,666 THIS MORNING
Edited on Fri Sep-08-06 10:01 AM by leftyladyfrommo
And rising fast. This has not been a good week. Maybe the 666 part is fitting. And I mean disrespect by that.

www.icasualties.org/oif/ for all the facts.

And boy was it a horrible day for the Iraqis.

Alertnet always keeps a daily list of security things that have occurred.

3. No. The KC Star usually carries Iraq stuff on page 14 or 16.
But there have been a lot of complaints about it.

I wish that a certain portion of the first page would always be dedicated to Iraq and Afghanistan coverage.

people don't know the reality of it all. As long as Bush and his supporters are on their comfy couches.

5. It's going to get worse
The only way to stop this is to get out now, we're not doing anything but getting people killed and wounded, our military degraded, our treasury depleted. It would seem that if these reptiles understand anything it's the value of a dollar, every dollar spent on Iraq is just the same as setting it on fire gone forever with no benefit to anyone, well, maybe not anyone haliburton and their subsideries are manking out pretty good.

11. What they want and what they get
is something entirely different, I know, you know, we all know that the this was all started in an effort to control a limited resource from the rest of the world.
Like the rest of their distorted pipedream this has turned into a nightmare and like a lab monkey addicted to cocaine they refuse to let go choosing instead to accept the punishment in hopes that the reward will flow.
The trouble is we're the ones getting the bad effects, while these bastards are well insulated.

8. We ignore the dead at our peril
If America continues to sweep the dead under the carpet, then one morning America will wake up to find a whole generation missing limbs and in wheel-chairs or mentally scarred for life if they were fortunate enough not to end up in a coffin six feet under.

10. The number is up to 2666
Wow, that reminds me of when I was a small boy and playing marbles. The number is damn close to the 9/11 number so it's almost even so George Boy can call it a tie, pick up his marbles and go home to tell his daddy what a great game he had.
That's bad isn't it but how true it is. They play games with us and we pay the price.

18. Terrible day in Afghanistan yesterday.
Edited on Fri Sep-08-06 10:23 AM by leftyladyfrommo
A bomb hit an American convoy and killed people and wounded about 29.

Worst day in Afghanistan since the fall of the Taliban (who now seem to be very much unfallen.) The latest figure is 333 but that number is not updated.
