Chicago Tribune TV Week Promotes Lies |
|
I guess the editors of the Tribune’s TV Week never read about the controversy over this film. According to the people who lived the events, the film is full of lies.

Chicago Tribune TV Week = Media Whores for the RNC :puke:
I saw a couple of cuts on TV Cable and honestly - The Acting Sucks Pond Water! In comparison, a episode of "Walker Texas Ranger" would seem like an action packed car chase.
The two scenes (teasers) shown by the M$M Cable news whores reminded me of "the monotone delivery "of my Organic Chemistry Professor. And we all know that these cuts and The Trailer are often representative of "the best Parts" of shows being promoted, aye? :P ;)
No thanks! Plus I'd recommend that they attach a complementary packet of "No-Doze" taped on the cover of future complementary DVDs sent to the RNC flocks of the converted.
However, no worries about Our School Age Children being brainwashed by this pseudo- docuDRAMA. This sh*t is so boring, they won't stay in the room beyond the first five minutes.

There is not a day that goes by that this country is not hit by another reprehensible act by the republicans. How do they get up in the morning, look at themselves in the mirror and realize what they are doing to this great country of ours.
Is it so important to support a person like bush and his administration. Where is the patriotism. Where is the feeling of being an American.
The type of people the republicans purport to be Americans are evil, lying bastards. (Hope I don't get censured, but that is the only word to describe them).

4. I nearly spat coffee on the dog when I pulled that out of the paper. |
|
Couldn't find a copy online to post, though.
I have plenty of problems with the Trib but I almost feel sorry for them on this one. I believe they print the TV guide weeks ahead of the regular paper (if the accuracy of the listings is any indication) and wouldn't have been aware of the recent controversy. Even the review inside is pretty uninformative.

5. From the entertainment editor: |

Dear Ms. Kay -- Thanks for your note. It was never our intent to "disseminate and promote right-wing lies." But unfortunately, our publication -- like most newspaper TV books -- goes to press about 2 weeks before it is distributed and the controversy over its politics had not surfaced at that time. I trust you had a chance to read the full range of our coverage and found it balanced. Best, Scott L. Powers Entertainment Editor Chicago Tribune Carolyn Kay MakeThemAccountable.com
