Media's refusal to pull Path to 9/11 worries me for Nov elections: Why? |
|
The dems made a veiled threat to yank their media licenses, if they committed this libel. Yet, the media went ahead, and from what I am seeing from the early reports of the bloggers who saw an early viewing, they didn't yank much.
So, why do you think that is?
I am wondering, if the key corporate players, know very well that the dems won't take over in November, so they have nothing to fear from their impotent threats.
They own the voting machines. They control key offices that supervise many critical elections. They have already stolen two elections on the Presidential scale.
I am very worried about November, indeed.

that they fear losing a House in Nov because of the investigations it will bring that they are willing to take these risks.

4. They can't fight us with the Truth, so they rely on RW propaganda |

to fool the masses. I'm not sure you can fool 250 million people for 6 years, but they have to. George Bush has destroyed his own party and is desperate at this point. Iraq, Katrina, not to mention 9/11 or the rigged 2000 elections.
Desperate and pathetic.

They do have voter suppression and other tactics down cold, you may well be right. I hope people are beginning to see what we're up against and that it isn't all about "ratings" anymore.

6. They know "things have changed" |
|
I heard someone, maybe on Franken, who put it succinctly. They said that, after the 2004 "election," Disney came to the conclusion that the political climate of the country had been irreversibly changed. So they decided to go all in to continue to prop it up.
It's sad, but it's true. We'll never be going back.

8. True. We're never going back to a balanced US where church |
|
and state were separate and the stamp of approval was by individual and not by the (R) next to a candidates name.
I don't thin the US can recover from this. I think the us is forever damaged and beyond repair.
We aren't going to win in 2006 and I'm considering leaving the country before 2k8.
