New conservative tactic on "Path to 9/11" |
|
I've been noticing today on some of the non-political message boards I surf where they have a "soap box" or "talk about anything", regular right wing posters who usually are right on top of every story are saying "Hey, did you see that 'Path to 9/11' miniseries last night? Boy, they really ripped the Clintonistas", as if they had no idea it was going to do that. Then they toss in, "Oh, I bet they will assault Bush tonight".
Anyway, be warned....seems the freepers have the marching orders to act like babes in the woods while pushing the film hard.

I call them out on their supposed naivety about what was going to be in the "documentary"....which is how they all term it as being, when it is clearly a docudrama.

It's not a "docu" anything. It's meant to demonize political opponents.
Call it like it is.

2. It's a smart reaction to our trying to get the film off the air |
|
If they admit that it is simple minded propoganda that gives up the game. Instead they have to paint it as middle of the road so as to create the illusion that we are frankly nuts for opposing it. Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

9. It's the old 'make it seem like a parallel truth' trick. |
|
It's standard SOP right out of the playbook.
It's the same as when they place some RW bloviator against a actual expert on a split screen 'debate' to give their bullshit story some credibility of having equal weight.

That seems to be the catch word that I've been seeing tossed around by the freepers when talking about this flick. They probably get a nickel for every sentence they use it in.
