1. I think she has much more gravitas than Couric. CBS should have ...
hired Viera.

And I HATE "The View."

2. I hardly watch it anymore because I can
barely tolerate watching Ann Curry. She's so awkward & rehearsed.

3. Supposedly, CBS hired Couric specifically to . . .
Wreck "Today." They don't care what happens to the nightly news, which doesn't make much money anyway.

I don't watch either program, so I have no opinion about their quality.

7. I have to admit that we watched Katie the other night
Se actually sat on the desk for her closing comments! I tried to imagine Walter Cronkite sitting on the desk at the end of the show and the vision just didn't come. Oh well I guess I am lucky that I did not turn to a pillar of salt for looking.

5. Now if she'd stop trying to hold Matt's hand...
That woman is very touchy feely and it's fun to watch Matt try and avoid her grasp.

6. I quit watching The View because I couldn't stand Viera.
I quit watching the Today show because I couldn't stand Couric. So Viera on Today doesn't improve it forme.
