Doesn't the Senate NSA hearings start this week?

I think I remember reading the Senate is to hold NSA hearings this week. Is that true or are they waiting until February? I hope they are this week because hopefully we can impeach Bush before he gets Alito. I'm listening to Randi's show from Friday and she's saying the impeachment needs to orginate from the House. So what if it starts in the Senate? Does that mean anything?
