7. I attend Toastmasters meetings and sometimes get assigned |
|
as the person who has to count the ah's people make during speeches. I would hate to have to do that for a Bush speech. I would need a freaking calculator.

Laying out the case for bringing peace to the ME--and it doesn't involve bombs and hatred.

|
he read, he studied, he done all the things to prepare himself for today in his life, unlike the boy king I could love him more only if he were one of my immediate family members

... and speaks so effortlessly ... not preachy, not as a bully, not in an "I know it and you don't" manner ...
Jeeeeeez, I really wish there was another Big Dog waiting in the wings (Feingold? ) ...

And yes Russ Feingold is and will ascend to the Whitehouse, first as a VP then as the President. IMO

15. I think that Feingold is as close as it comes |
|
I haven't seen Feingold as warm and personal as BC comes across, but I think he could come pretty close. Gore is also becoming much more warm now that he's out of political office...maybe could retain that if he ran in '08.

and through life it has been proven to be true to me more often than not when I have these feelings

It's a natural ticket - they compliment each other in alot of ways.
I would work my ARSE off for that ticket, BTW. :applause:
I'm a native Wisconsinite so had the pleasure of meeting a young-ish Senator Feingold when I was in college in '96 ... I was busy campaigning for the Dem State Senate Candidate (who's now WI Lt. Gov :) ) & didn't have the time work work on Russ' campaign too, but was lucky enough to cross paths with him via some of my classmates who were volunteers/at Dem campaign events locally.

23. We certainly need them |
|
There's gonna be a hell of a mess to clean up once the bush* regime is out. There are no two Dems nationally known that I would trust more to do the job--okay, that's not entirely true. I believe that their are a few people in the CBC who I trust to clean up the mess, but I don't see any of them being elected as POTUS.
Here's a toast to your instinctual feeling, I hope it is on target! :toast:

What a mind and grasp of the problems of the world. I truly believe he is about the only person who could step into the job after GWB leaves and straighten our country out....shoot, straighten the world out.

16. Criticising our response to Katrina and indirectly. This is |

and indictment of the Bush administration. I wish he would just out and out name Bush as responsible for the lack of response and subsequent deaths for his lack of concern and incompetence.
