Greg Palast AND John Hodgeman both speaking in my town! |
|
Hodgeman is looking for a $30 cover, Palast is "requesting" a $15 donation. I'd love to see them both, but it sounds as if the fee schedule is flip-flopped, especially since Hodgeman is just promomting a book...he should be speaking for FREE! Still, though...help me out. Who would YOU spend $30 on, one seat to hear Hodgeman, or take a friend to see Palast?

I believe he needs all of the support we can muster for him to fight these ridiculous charges levied against him. If you see him and get the chance please pass along my gratitude for his work.

He used to have events for free in Brooklyn all the time, now he's charging $30??? Hate to say it: the guy is a sell-out.
And Palast is the man of the moment, and he needs the dough.

I can take a friend to hear Palast for the same $30 Hodgeman wants to hawk his book.

3. Easy. Palast is a truth seeker, Hodgman (whom I love) is an entertainer. |
